Winter wedding light

Hope you all had a great Xmas - I am just recovering from the excess of all that pudding etc!

I have posted below a few images from this December's winter weddings. Although it is a lovely romantic time with candles and roaring fires in hotels, if you are planning a Winter wedding this year or next - take in to account the short days and lack of daylight. It is one of those things, like the weather that we have no control over!
After the church or ceremony there can be very little time to capture those beautiful portraits shots of the two of you, so make sure to allow some time before the sun or daylight vanishes behind the hills, houses or sea.
These two images were captured in a few minutes just as the sun went down - it was a bit of a rush to get to the locations, but well worth it as you can see from the results!

View over Killiney Hill, the venue was Fitzpatricks Hotel, only five minutes away from this fabulous spot.

Contemporary Wedding Photography Dublin

This wedding was shot at Killashee House Hotel, Naas. My bride and her bridesmaids (all five of them!) had a great time and just loved having fun in front of the camera.
